Luckily, Mias good friend Marvin (Machion Garrison) has a possible job offer for her. A colleague of his, Derrick (Bill Nunn: Kiss The Girls & He Got Game) is looking to hire someone for "Backstage Entertainment". Mia lands the job and her career takes off that is until she finds herself falling in love with "One of the industrys top paid rappers," Gipp (Big Gipp of the Goodie Mobb). Mias relationship with Gipp takes a turn for the worse when Pancake decides to disclose Mias secrets to Gipps homeboy, Mellow (Johnell Ghainey). Mellow in turn tries to convince Gipp that Mia truly is "A Damn Groupie!" Groupies is a comedy /drama that will take you through the highs, lows, the loves and losses of three beautiful women trying to make it in the entertainment industry.
